Fresh sewing day...

It has been a while since I catalogued makes for the month.. but having managed, if not a wide variety, at least a lot of finishes....

last on the list was this collection of square in a square blues... with red. A bee block for October..

And I did manage a first for me- turning a scribbled drawing into a foundation paper pieced block, and then getting it drawn up on the computer, and even translating it into a pdf, which has been printed out by someone elsewhere and used! so we know it works!

But the major event was these tutus! all 32 of them... getting things done folks! though they were started in September.

and I plan to link up with Lily's quilts!

May sewing?

Well, I did have a couple of bee blocks, one for a starter- but I made that in April... but it still counts? right?

this floaty star!

then, I had a bee block or two to make for the hipbees...

Foundation paper pieced- I am not a keen doer of this technique, but I do love the end result!

and that bag- yes I will do it a post of it's own, promise!

and I think that is all I achieved- between various other activities...

so here is hoping for a more productive June!

oh, and having met Lynn from Lily's quilts, I thought I would go mad, and join her 'fresh sewing day' once more!  see you there!

Poor show- September sewing!

Belated block for Fi, in the stash bee. She chose pretty pretty fabric...

And officially September blocks for Sarah
And a block to go off to the other side of the world, after a few more stopovers,

and playing nicely with it's friends..

And between moving children, and going on holiday- and having visitors, that is about all that happened in September!

Linking with fresh sewing day- despite such a poor collection!

Fresh sewing day

It seems I had very little sewing in March. Now why would that be?

Oh yes, because my sewing machine misbehaved and had to go back to the repair man. Again. She is a dream, and I do love her, but twice? And for a fault that they say doesn't often happen? each time- two different faults that do not often happen?

Oh well, she is back now, and I can sew again.

So, all I can show for March is
this cloak for 'Brian the Lion'

and a small Easter egg substitute, for DD2

but why not jump on the band wagon, and join up with Lynne for Fresh sewing day, again.

What did you manage in March?
